SternCosmeticSurgeryofTampaBay.com is the type of website that everyone should look into when they are considering cosmetic surgery. If you have fears, they will help put them to rest. You can do a lot of research on their website and have a lot of your questions answered, from the comfort of your own home.

Now, cosmetic surgery isn’t for everyone. You have to want to change your physical appearance and go through a small bit of pain to accomplish this. A little bit of cosmetic surgery can take the most self-conscious person and turn them into a confident and outgoing person. It’s hard to imagine that we can alter our physical looks simply by going to a doctor who specializes in this type of work. Many people believe that the face they are born with is the face they are stuck with for the rest of their lives. This isn’t so. Not only can we now get a sharper set of cheekbones, we can get a straighter nose, fuller lips, new breasts, and now butt implants. If you don’t like the shape or size of your buttocks, you can have a doctor change that for you. You no longer have to wear baggy pants to hide your physical imperfections. Surgery will fix this for you. The price can be costly but it’s difficult to put a price tag on self-esteem and confidence. I had two babies in my 30s and I am now the proud owner of a kangaroo pouch for a stomach. To me it is unsightly. I am merely waiting for my kids to be a little older, and self-sufficient, to go in and have the surgery to have my stomach flattened. I am always very aware of how it looks and it makes me not want to go out as much as I used to go out. If you’d like more information about this, visit SternCosmeticSurgeryofTampaBay.com.

It’s been a long journey from massage to receiving my masters degree in nursing, but a rewarding one.

I began as a relatively uneducated aide in a nursing home, helping the elderly patients, giving massages, adjusting bedding–simple stuff like that. Actually, it goes back to my volunteer work there when I was in high school. Once I graduated, they offered me a job and, too restless to attend college, I agreed.

I love the massage and the touch, so I became a licensed massage therapist. But it was difficult work and the pay was less than I imagined. Frustrated with spa work and not really wanting to open my own practice, I recalled how much I loved that nursing home, and decided to go to nursing school. Money was tight, so by the time I had my LPN, I started working as a nurse while I continued school.

It took several years just to get the bachelor’s (BSN), but the pay increase was pretty thrilling. More pay meant I could afford to cut back on my hours, and from there, it became that much easier to attend graduate school. Today I have a master’s degree in my chosen field, working in long term care (back at the nursing home), and yes, I still give the occasional massage.
